Certified Medical Assistant (Full-time)

OSMS has a full-time Certified Medical Assistant position available in our orthopedic clinic. Main responsibilities will include performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories and preparing patients for examination.

Requirements
Education:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Experience:

  • 1 plus years of experience

Surgical Technologist (Full-time)

OSMS is seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist to join our growing orthopedics team. Duties may include assisting in operations, under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personal. May help with positioning the patient for surgery, suturing, sterile technique, setting up operating room, preparing and transporting patients for surgery, adjusting lights and equipment, passing instruments and other supplies to surgeons and surgeon’s assistants, holding retractors, and counting sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments. Position requires knowledge of systems/procedures specific to orthopedics (ex: total joint replacements, scopes).

Requirements
Education:

  • Associate’s Degree (two-year college or technical school) Required

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years orthopedic experience required and must be versed in total joint replacement surgeries

Other Requirements:

  • Credentialing – Required at facilities deemed necessary by Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Specialists of Green Bay (OSMS)
    • Must be maintained for continued employment with OSMS for employees that are required to work in the operating room

Maintenance Specialist (Full-time)

OSMS is seeking a full-time Maintenance Specialist to join our growing practice. The main responsibilities of the maintenance specialist are to maintain and repair machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.

Requirements
Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

Experience:

  • 5 plus years of experience in building maintenance in clinic or hospital setting

Computer Skills:

  • General knowledge of using a computer

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to be on-call

Medical Transcriptionist (Full-time)

OSMS is seeking a full-time Medical Transcriptionist to join our growning team. The main responsibility of the medical transcriptionist will be to accurately transcribe dictation for both the Orthopedic and Rheumatology Physicians of the clinic.

Requirements
Education:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Experience:

  • Prefer six months experience doing medical transcription, medical terminology

Other Requirements:

  • Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of word processing programs

Business Office Specialist (Full-time)

OSMS is seeking a Billing Office Specialist to join our growing team. The primary purpose of this position is to locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail and telephone to solicit payment. Duties include, but are not limited to, receiving payment and posting amount on customer’s account, following up with insurance companies, collecting from patients, and other duties as defined by the business office supervisor.
